The speakers are perfect for use in a den, bedroom, office or dorm room. Don't let the low price fool you. This is a Big name European manufacurer. We auditioned them at our stereo store and was surprised at how well they compared to other bookshelf speakers costing two or three times as much. We are pleasantly surprised at the amount of clean bass they produce. The sound is much more balanced than anything else in this price range.
The 5.25 inch woofer uses a PVA treated paper cone and foam surround. The tweeter is a 1 inch titanium done. Excellent sound for the price! The cabinet construction and materials are basic. It's made of 3/8" fiberboard with a simulated black woodgrain veneer. The removable speaker grille is made of black fabric stretched over a frame of the same black fiberboard. The all black color, combined with it's small size, make these bookshelf speakers almost disappear - perfect for small work spaces.

Unit works perfectly and is in Excellent Condition!
Classic parallel push-pull circuit equipped with 12AX7 /12AT7 / EL34 tubes, this thing produces nothing but beautiful, gorgeous music with clarity and transparency. Dynamic range to die for and silky highs. Its performance is best illustrated with violin, saxophone, piano, vocal, Jazz, Classical music.
 This amp has 4 input selector, a ALPS volume control, and balance control on the front. 4 sets of gold hi-level inputs and gold 4 / 8 ohm speaker connections on the back. Amp produces around 50 WPC.
The Tech said it is designed around a Dynaco Stereo 70, with updated components (replacing the 7199 driver tube with 12AX7 / 12AT7) and a selector switch.
