This digital connection lets you take advantage of the 'NR809's built-in digital-to-analog converters, which run circles around the iPod's DAC. Connect the receiver to your home network via its Ethernet port, and you can enjoy music stored on your PC through your full-fledged, high-performance audio system, instead of a pair of pint-sized computer speakers. Plus you can also enjoy thousands of Internet radio stations — or let PANDORA® Internet radio create a set of customized "stations" based on your own tastes. Or add Onkyo's HD Radio tuner to listen to the free digital over-the-air programming that many AM and FM stations now broadcast.
